About This Event

Come get your dance on Aug 16 at the Brazilian-American Cultural Center in Washington, DC. We will be exploring mico movements, mini weight transfers, and the secrets of comfort in this family of movements in Brazilian Zouk. It will be a night of playful learning and of gooey social dancing. There are no ticket sales at the door, register online here

The class is a lab-style, experiential, and activity-based workshop. Although the 3 hour social after the labs will be strictly Brazilian Zouk, the principles covered in the lab are applicable to many styles of partner dance. No partner is needed.

We will start with a more energetic set for the first half of the night, and then slip into some gooey-trancy bliss for the second set. Sets will be purchased pre-recorded sets from world-famous Zouk DJs and will play a variety of genres
